Steve Neville/Nash stainless steel alarms

I bought these limited edition alarms from Nash direct as I couldn’t find anywhere that stocks them online. I got them for £100 each and am very pleased with them. I have had them for 12 months and have not had to replace the battery for any of them. There are 2 tone settings, by moving the switch up the volume tone is reduced and down gives maximum volume. This is an ideal feature when night fishing, I have found moving the switch to the up position the sound is dimmed sufficiently so as not to annoy any other angler on the lake if I get a take. There is an option to add a receiver but I don’t think it is necessary unless your bivvy is a considerable distance from the rod rest. There is 2.5mm jack on each alarm to connect to alarm receiver if required. The beauty of these alarms is they are simple solid design and will last for ages. The stainless steel element means that the fishing rod sit really well in the rests and the bite indication is also excellent in windy conditions. These are also 3 colour LED indicators to chose from they are blue, red and white. I was watching “Four seasons of Carp Fishing” with Jim Shelley and in this DVD he uses these alarms.
