Terry Hearn book is just what I had been looking for ages. This book is a thing of quality and unlike many carp books avoids simple rig presentations, tackle and bait advertising, which unfortunately I have seen in a number of other books. It covers lakes such as Richmond Park (Royal 40 lb+), Yateley in Hampshire (Heather), River Thames carp to name a few. The thing that is most rewarding about this book is Terry Hearn is absolute carp addict and nothing will stop him from being on his chosen lake. I think this book reflects how much hardwork and determination is required to catch the really big UK carp that everyone in the carp world only dream of catching. There are some great carp pictures in this book including Mary (RIP), Heather, Chop Dorsal caught by Paul Forward, Moonscale, and Horton’s Lumpy. I would recommend this to any carp angler it is a top read.
